About me (Curriculum Vitae )
Hi, my name is Peter and welcome to my personal website! I was born in London and am French-Hungarian by nationality. I have lived and studied in Hungary, Austria, France, the United Kingdom and Spain, and so speak five languages fluently.
Having moved around a lot, I quickly realised that the only common language in all countries is the universal language of Mathematics. Consequently, I developed an interest for problem solving and analytical thinking, and so in 2011 I decided to study Mathematics at Imperial College London. Three years later, graduating from my Bachelor with First Class Honours, I was keen to go even further. I went on to do a master's degree in Statistics, seeking to prepare myself for today's increasingly data-driven world. Details
After graduating, I started working for Uber, where I was part of the team launching my home city of Budapest. After a year however, Uber got banned from Budapest. Hence I decided to take a job in the sunny city of Barcelona, working for a french online marketing company called Criteo. Being a builder at heart and a start-up enthusiast, leading a small team, I developed a tennis app called Trospy that now is downloadable on Android and iOS. Details
On a personal level, I am mainly known for being an avid sports person. During my early teenage years, I trained to become a professional tennis player. Most notably, I was part of Bob Brett's tennis academy in San Remo, where I practiced with the likes of Marin Cilic.
Later, I started doing triathlon. I am a six-time Half-Ironman finisher, and in 2015 I ran my first Marathon.
Most recently, I developed a huge passion for Latin dancing. I adore Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba and spend the occasional free evening on the dance floor.
Having been lucky to travel to many of parts of the world, I love discovering new cultures and meeting new people. So if you find my website interesting, do reach out and to contact me!
